Fee Schedule

Jesse believes that mental health care should be accessible to all people in Australia, regardless of geographical location or financial status, and works hard to provide high-quality, affordable psychological interventions to his clients. His fees per session are well below the Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended rate and he provides discounted sessions to people holding a valid Health Care Card.

Therapy

Appointments with Jesse are $190 if the client holds a valid Health Care Card. All other therapy appointments are $260. Sessions are 50 minutes long. All appointments are held over a secure (HIPAA compliant) telehealth service and are eligible for a Medicare rebate for Clinical Psychology, if the client has a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) written by a General Practicioner, paediatrician, or psychiatrist.

Mental Healthcare Plan

A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is a plan your doctor writes to help you access treatment for a mental health condition. A MHCP allows the recipient to access up to 10 rebated sessions with a mental health professional per calendar year. Two of these sessions can be used for parent or carer only appointments. The Medicare rebate for Clinical Psychology appointments is currently $141.85.

Chronic Disease Management Plan

Clients living with a long-term health condition may be able to access rebates under a Chronic Disease GP Management Plan (GPMP) or Team Care Arrangement (TCA), both written by a General Practitioner. These plans allow the recipient to access up to 5 rebated sessions with allied health services per year. You and your GP can decide whether you would benefit from using any number of these sessions with a psychologist. The Medicare rebate for services under a chronic disease plan is $60.35

Private Health and NDIS

If you have private health insurance, your provider may cover some of the costs to see a psychologist in accordance with your policy. You should discuss with your health insurance provider to see if this applies for you. Please keep in mind that you cannot claim with private health insurance and Medicare for the same appointment.

For individuals with NDIS plans, Jesse is able to provide NDIS appointments for individuals who self-manage their NDIS package.

Supervision

Jesse is a Board Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and is able to provide supervision to general and clinical psychologists, clinical psychology registrars, psychology students (including post graduate clinical psychology students), and other allied health professionals. Pricing for supervision with Jesse is $180+GST and processing fee per hour of supervision. If you would like a supervision consult with Jesse, please get in touch.

Cancellation Policy

When you book in an appointment with Jesse, that spot is booked in just for you. If you can no longer attend and need to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 2 days (48 hours) before your appointment time. Appointments cancelled within will incur a 50% cancellation fee, while appointments cancelled on the day, or not attended will result in a 100% cancellation fee. Please note you cannot claim with Medicare for cancellation fees.
